A Better Bomber xx, Rhapsody's beautiful mother.  The below photo was taken at one of her several breed registry approvals, where she was awarded Premium mare status.

Bred to VDL Prestige, see his video here and here.

We're expecting her foal in March 2007.

About Rhapsody...This big, pretty mare, born in 2001, has been everything we hope for as breeders.  She is drop-dead gorgeous and an awesome mover.  More photos on the SALES page. She shows talent for either dressage or o/f, and could do very well as a hunter, too.  She is very, very mellow and easy to work with.  When we started her mounted training-- with a halter and a flake of hay, I just climbed aboard and that was that.  She didn't even stop eating. What a good girl!!!  She is shown under-saddle on the right...

She was named top foal at a HUGE German Oldenburg Verband inspection hosted by Heike Albert's GW Ranch-- against a field of almost 2 dozen very well bred foals. Dr. Evelyn Vollstedt called back several foals for the coveted "Premium" status, with special notations for Rhapsody's pretty conformation,  beautiful face and light, uphill movement. The foals were placed in order and dismissed one at a time, and, low and behold, we were the final foal in the premium arena.       She was the top foal of the inspection! Dr. Vollstedt liked "A Better Bomber" (see bottom photo) very much, awarding her Main Mare Book status with several 7's and an 8-- nearly unheard of scores for TB mares in that particular registry.

Training: -Rhapsody is now going nicely under saddle. She is very easy to put "on the bit" and lateral work is very easy for her.So far, work has been a breeze-- she promises to be the type of horse that tries her heart out!!!

Show History:  we brought her to the Dressage Among Friends Breed Show in late October '02, and are proud to say that she again got lovely comments about her typiness, elegance and movement, and brought home the RESERVE CHAMPION filly award against good competition!

Rotspon is pictured here, and there are more photos on the Stallion page
